Application Information

 

When:            June 18 & 19, 201-  Boys

                        June 25 & 26, 2011  -  Girls

                  

Ages:             Under 9 through Under 19

                               

Where:           Rider University, Lawrenceville NJ and

                         Doughboy Fields, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst NJ

 

Format:         Three game guarantee. 

U15 & Older              30 minute halves     11 v 11

U11 – U14                 30 minute halves     11 v 11

U10 & Younger          25 minute halves       8 v 8

 

Who:              Applications are invited from duly registered Boys and Girls teams.  Passes from all national governing bodies accepted. All passes on a team must be issued by the same governing body (directly or through its state associations).

                        The Tournament Committee has authorized a maximum of five guest players.  

 

 

To Enter:      Complete the online application entry form and make payment by credit card online. (Call the Admin Office at 732-432-7200 if you encounter any difficulty with this process.)

                      Fees are $725 for U11 & Older teams

                      And $475 for Small-Sided teams at U10 & younger  [8v8]

Application Deadline:        Entries requested by May 5, 2011. Entries after that date will be considered on a space-available basis, or placed on a waiting list. Payment must be received to complete the application process.

 

General Information:  

 

The Rider Cup is designed for competitive club teams, academy teams and summer select teams.

 

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WITHDRAWING AFTER ACCEPTANCE.

 

Weather and other uncontrollable conditions:         

In the event of modifications or cancellations, the Committee’s determination on format change and the amount of refund, if any, is final.

 

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS

 

1.     Provide as much meaningful information about your team as possible, including recent records, participation in State Cup and Regional competition, records in recent major tournaments, etc. 

 

2.     Please advise us of the structure of competitive leagues in your state organization.  Feel free to attach a clarifying statement.

 

3.     The requested information is usually as important for flighting and scheduling purposes as it is for acceptance, so do provide the information carefully.

 

4.     The tournament reserves the right to contact State Associations, league officials and club officials to confirm and obtain additional information about applicants.
