Ages: Under 9 through Under 19 Girls

Where: Doughboy Fields, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst NJ

Format: Three game guarantee.

U15 & Older 30 minute halves 11 v 11

U11 – U14 30 minute halves 11 v 11

U10 & Younger 25 minute halves 8 v 8

Awards are uniquely embroidered Caps to each member of the winning team, designating the Championship victory.

Who: Applications are invited from duly registered Boys and Girls teams. Passes from all national governing bodies accepted. Foreign teams are invited. The Tournament Committee has authorized a maximum of five guest players. There will be no exceptions to team and player requirements.

To Enter: Complete the online application entry form accessed from the Tournament Homepage, and pay by credit card online. Fees are $695 for U11 & Older teams and $475 for Small-Sided teams at U10 & younger.

Application Deadline: Applications requested by June 10, 2011. Qualified teams will be accepted on a rolling basis. Teams applying late may be put on a waiting list. Payment must be received to complete the application process.

Lodging: The MAPS CAPS CLASSIC is a "stay-to-play" tournament for teams requiring hotels. MSSL has reserved rooms for all events year-round through Titan Lodging, even dates when rooms are scarce in the area. To preserve these room blocks, MSSL must utilize them when appropriate. General Information:

The MAPS CAPS CLASSIC is designed for competitive club teams, league select teams and summer academy teams.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO TEAMS WITHDRAWING AFTER ACCEPTANCE.

Weather and other uncontrollable conditions:

In the event of modifications or cancellations, the Committee’s determination on format change and the amount of refund, if any, is final.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS

1. Provide as much meaningful information about your team as possible, including recent records, participation in State Cup and Regional competition, records in recent major tournaments, etc.

2. Please advise us of the structure of competitive leagues in your state organization. Feel free to provide a clarifying statement. The online application offers an area for comments.

3. The requested information is usually as important for flighting and scheduling purposes as it is for acceptance, so do provide the information carefully.

4. The tournament reserves the right to contact State Associations, league officials and club officials to confirm and obtain additional information about applicants.
